This creation is inspired by the 1823 poem made famous by Clement Clarke Moore, "A Visit from Saint Nicholas" that starts off with "Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse..." Well, with apologies to Mr. Moore, here at Cozy Creek Christmas, we beg to differ. It's been a long tradition at Cozy Creek Christmas that when the time come for decorating trees, the mice do much more than stirring. With an informal Christmas truce in place with our cats Scamper, Poofy, and Patches; the little mice happily go about decorating their own Christmas tree in the wee hours before dawn.
Each little member of the mouse family has their own job to do, whether it's stringing festive lights, hanging ornaments or gently placing a star on top of the tree and as you can see in the picture, they truly do it with the greatest of care. This wreath, a whimsical tribute to Mr. Moore's poem 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' is ready for purchase in our online store and it's on sale right now with free shipping.
