This is the time of year when all the careful work that's gone into your garden comes to light. The warm morning sun coaxes the flowers out of their buds to reveal their glory to the Wold. Here we have day lilies with a backdrop of an exotic perennial flower, a dusky pink astilbe reaching its cone-shaped delicate blossoms to the sky.
Day lilies are especially beautiful, with such a fleeting elegance. Plant a few around your gardens and watch the riot of spontaneous colors erupt! Just keep in mind that, if like us and have cat companions like our Scamper and 'lil Poofy, that lilies of all sorts are toxic to cats, so keep these IN the garden and enjoy them at a distance. Have a great day.
